The {Autonomous} Collective does not sell runway slots. Every designer is selected through The Inner Circle's accreditation process and reviewed by the Collective's jury.
Selection Process
How Designers Are Chosen.
Selection for The {Autonomous} Collective is a two-stage process: Inner Circle accreditation followed by Collective jury review. Accreditation confirms standards. The jury selects for the show's specific vision and season.
Inner Circle Accreditation
Designers must hold current Inner Circle accreditation — meaning they've passed the full vetting process for craft, ethics, and professional conduct.
Collective Jury Review
Accredited designers may submit a season portfolio to the Collective jury. The jury evaluates for creative vision, collection cohesion, and alignment with the show's theme.
Selection & Confirmation
Selected designers are notified and confirmed. Production support — including styling coordination, casting access, and technical production — is provided at no cost to the designer.
February 2027 Season
The Lineup Is Being Formed.
Designer selection for the February 2027 season is currently underway. The full lineup will be announced in November 2026. Accredited Inner Circle members may submit their season portfolio for jury review through the application below.
